Got resonator delete. Should I go for a muffler delete & get a magnaflow muffler?

Just got a resonator delete for my 08 328i and it sounds a tiny bit better when hitting the gas but it's barely distinguishable, so I thought I should get a different muffler but I don't want to spend $300+ on it. I saw magnaflow mufflers on amazon for about $120 and also some eBay mufflers for $100. Should I go thru with this? If so which muffler should I get & is there any problems that I will encounter with a res delete & different muffler?

If you're making an exhaust custom, you're gonna have some trial and error to fine tune it to how you like it.

Also do you plan on getting headers at any point?

Magnaflow muffler #12148 with resonator delete is a good match for daily driving. Enough volume while not being obnoxious.

When I bought my car...it had a muffler delete already done. It was okay, but the sound never grew on me. When I installed my headers, I also installed Magna-Flow's cat back system.

It bolts up right past the secondary cats (Slip on), and it came with its own resonator.

It's actually tamer than just a muffler delete with the rest of the exhaust stock.....and it sounds a lot better. It deepens the tone of it, and the resonator they provide has done a great job of eliminating any drone.
