What Brakes For e93 335i?

Hi All,

Discs and pads need doing and BMW have quoted over 700 which I won't be opting for.

My BMW indy can fit them for 120 so what are the best ones to get and from where?

Thanks!

Last time I got discs I got Pagid from ECP and I always use Textar pads, again from ECP usually, or try car parts for less which are the same company as ECP but only do mail order delivery.

Why not look at a set of used F30 380mm brakes?

Garage List
I currently have Ate discs with Brembo pads, I've had both Brembo & Pagid discs & would say the Ate ones are better.
I used to run ceramic pads but recently reverted back to non ceramic as I found the ceramics were destroying the discs, steering wheel shuddering under braking within a few thousand miles.
I bought the Ate's & pads from ECP, discs were 131 for the pair & 46 for the pads with a discount code.

With black friday coming up should be some good discounts available

Changing pads & discs is a very easy diy, with the help of a good Utube video to show you how

If you drive fast and hard, OEM rotors and pads can not be beat. Lear to do the install yourself and save the money for install.

I'd certainly go with ATE discs and textar pads. Just fitted a full set of this combo to my sisters 3er.

Avoid Pagid; they're not the same since ECP bought the brand. I've heard and read too many horror stories!

ATE or genuine BMW discs is what you want. Textar pads (OE manufacturers) are good, unless you need/want anything special.

OEM discs, wouldn't touch anything else, pads you can play around with.
