335i 2007 Kingston area need some help!
Hey guys if theres anyone close that can help me try and get this stupid rear lower shock mount off that would be awesome I can drive pretty far and have a bunch of tools to try and help with. The lower e16 torx bolt that holds it into the knuckle got rounded off trying to remove it. Any help would be fucking awesome

I figured you were replacing the mount, a $20 wear item, along with whatever other work you're doing in there. If you're going to re-use that part, just leave it in. Disconnect the shock from the mount and pull the shock out. If it comes out.

I am replacing that mount I just didnt thin drilling and tapping a new hole was worth it. Or is it a straight pass through the knuckle and just screws onto the shock mount???

The screw passes through the lower control arm and threads in to the shock mount. You get a new fresh tapped hole with the new shock mount.

Ahhh perfect I just didint want to damage anything inside the knuckle that might have held the shock mount... if that's a straight passthrough then il just drill through if this extractor bit doesnt do the job
