Photoshop lowering

Messing on PS earlier and managed this

In the actual image the car look too high IMO, definitely prefer the lower stance.

New 359 reps on the way from BM Autosport tomorrow so I'll be trying the photoshop lowering before I take the plunge and order the coilovers.

I'm happy to do this for anyone on the forum who's not able to and wants to see how their car would look.

That's a cool trick - I would love to see how mine would look if that's not much hassle?
A drink on me for the next meet if you make it

Looks good don't you think? Made it a tad lower on the front as when it went down square it didn't look right.

The top few mm of the picture, you can see the background of the original picture where you moved the copy down.

Cheers.

They way I did it was to layer via copy then erase the wheels (right up to the wheelarch) and the underside of the car on the top layer (remove visibility of background when you do this). Make the background visible again, grab the top layer and move it to where you like

I've not mastered putting different wheels on yet but did manage a quad exhaust and it looks the nuts!

Not sure, someone else on here might be able to help you but I bought mine (original) off eBay for about £80, it's only Elements 10 but it has more than I will ever need or be able to use (more like).

You can download trial versions of PS from the Adobe website which works for 30 days, after that it's big bucks for full version unless you qualify for the student discount. However there are very good free alternatives to PS like Paint.net or GIMP which let you do basic photo editing.

My OH is a graphic designer and she does some amazing stuff with photo editing which absolutely boggles me.

PS That silver coupe with the 189 wheels looks pretty good lowered. I have the same wheels on mine but they look silly with that comedy wheel arch gap which comes with BMW's as standard.

Here's the quad exhaust. The rest of the picture is a bit messy but the car bit isn't too bad and I like the look.
