DIY Request: How to remove door handles. PLEASE
I am going to attempt wrapping my car in vinyl and will eventually need to remove my door handles to do so.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I think you need to remove your interior door panel to remove the door handles. Not sure.

Hey there, I do not own a BMW, and primarily joined these forums to find out where Djaemac purchased that amount of vinyl for that price. I also noticed your visitor message SuperlativE90. I am just curious as to where you purchased you roll of vinyl for that price. Are you shopping through vendors or finding deals on ebay. I am looking to wrap my vehicle in satin black. Any info would be much appreciated.
I apologize if this breaks any of your forum rules and such. |

Bump. I also need to do this. Are you sure that by removing the panel you can access it? (express705 have you done this/seen this done?)

Yes, I've had a friend done this on an e90, it's as easy as that. No need to remove the door panel

To remove the door handle you need to unscrew 1 bolt and pull. Not too hard, Getting it back on is the tricky thing. Look at the write up someone did on getting rid of the keyhole part of the door handle. It will pretty much show you how to take off the handle.
