You should do it yourself (it doesn't cost as much). Therefore, if you don't like it, you can just peel it off. I want to do it myself too. I just can't find a local place to buy the vinyl

Heat gun is your friend. Mohammed did it himself. It came out really good. If you're ok with spending money, then do it. I like to do things myself cause it's cheaper

just spoke with my painter and im debating doing a satin finish on my car, same color but he would take the gloss off of it, it will be like the new BMW black that isnt shiny, not flat but not glossy.... I love owning my own business and doing trades!!!!

Once i get the car back from Murray's body shop (repainted the front to get rid of rock chips and what not i will then take it to my good buddy at True Kustom off Santa Fe and we are going to look at my options, he says he can make my car flat or satin without repainting... Guy is good you should check him out if you have any projects, he does anything and everything, my dads Camaro is in there right now getting some serious work done to it and its turning out great. thanks for the pic i am going to send it to him right now!!! check out his sight

This is the link for my Dads camaro work

SCR Performance has a bunch of the carbon fiber vinyl for pretty cheap, I bought two sections about 2ft by 3ft and I think it cost around 25 bucks.

I would say do it! Might look great. And as Alfred said, you can always peel it off!
