2009 328i, TPMS sensor replacement?
Picking up a new to me 2009 328i and one of the first things I’m doing is replacing the tires. Figured this is also a good time to replace the TPMS sensors. On some of my other cars I’ve used Autel MX universal sensors that I can then clone from the OEM sensors and the car doesn’t know the difference (I do this a lot so I can have multiple sets of wheels and can swap them without having to relearn the sensors to the car).
Will Autel MX sensors work with the E90? If I don’t clone them or if I end up with sensors from another brand that can’t be cloned then what’s the process to have the car learn the new IDs? |
