LED turn signal problem... I am stumped

OK, I just got a replacement set of LED front turn signal bulbs from JleviSW (1156 bulb). They test fine on the workbench when connected to an external 12V source, but for some reason do not work once installed in the socket. If I remove the LED bulb and put the amber bulb back in it works just fine. Seems like the LED bulb fits like a glove and making all the proper contacts inside the socket. I cannot figure out why it is not lighting up. Anybody have any thoughts or suggestions? I am starting to pull my hair out...

LED have a negative and positive. make sure they are correct when installing the bulbs. unlike regular bulbs they can go in any way and it will work. for LED, negative gotta go to negative and positive to positive. good luck.

Keep in mind these are the bayonet style bulbs for the front turn signals, not the wedge bulbs for the side markers. As far as I know there is no way to change polarity for the bayonet style bulbs.

Longtran, are you going to be at your shop today? I will be in the are and might stop by.

Thanks,

Mike
