3M Carbon Fiber Vinyl Interior Wrap??

Does anyone in the Metro Atlanta area have any expertise with this particular mod. I would really like to have my interior wrapped in some of that sweet CF trim and am willing to pay/barter in beer, liquor, pizza or coin.

Thanks, in advance!

I'm trying to get the same thing done but in gloss black and just the center console. I'm in the Atlanta area as well.

I cant post pics from my work computer. Its telling me I have a security token missing or mismatched. I will have to wait until I get home to post them. Unless you know what the issue is.

I took these this morning while it was still dark. My camera is old and sucks balls. The diNoc is not this blue in person. Anyway, the wrap looks good with no peeling and tight edges. If you want to see it in person let me know. If you want more pics in the sunlight let me know.

Yep! This is what i'm looking for. Looks clean, you did a nice job on that. We definitely need to get together on this one. How much wrap did you have to order?

Just a caution...the 3m Di-noc WILL eventually get dry...
Your better option is to use the CF cloth option (like in the stock E9X M3)..it won't dry out.
Trust me I know because I have the CF cloth on my interior and CF 3M Di-Noc on the exterior...just imagine trying to detail 3M Di-Noc on the interior with vinyl detailer...just some food for thought.

So you're saying use the CF Fabric (http://www.pyspeed.com/product-p/rd-8001.htm) instead of the DiNoc for longevity?

It takes a long time to dry out. Plus having the DiNoc on the interior it wont get beat by the sun too bad. I had the dinoc inside my Titan for years and it always looked the same. Never dried out, never peeled, never faded. I never "detailed" it I just wiped it down with Pledge which is what I have always used to clean the inside of my cars. The dinoc has an adhesive backing. I dont think the cloth does.

The cloth doesn't have the adhesive backing but that is minor for you i would think. I would think the cloth would be easier to install though? Just due to the stretchiness of the fabric vs. the stiffer Di-Noc. I am sure either one will look great...just wanna give the OP some food for thought.

I would recommend using the CF fabric instead. In my opinion, it looks much better (very similar to the M3 carbon leather trim).

So Nivedh, with the CF Fabric...and the adhesive that's used to bind it to the trim...is it still reversible without damage and how forgiving is it during install?

I used 3M Super 77. It's fully reversible. After peeling off the fabric, I was able to easily clean off the residue on the trim with some Goo-Gone. The install is very easy, mainly because the fabric is more stretchable than vinyl. The glue takes about a minute to get tacky so it gives you plenty of time to work. If you mess up, you can always peel the fabric off and start over.

Yes...and maybe "dry" was the wrong word to use...I just know mine has sometimes gotten residue stuck in the creases...and it is a pain to really clean that out...with the cloth you don't need to do anything (pledge or otherwise).

Im sure the fabric looks awesome. When I started using DiNoc I didnt even know the fabric existed. I might end up changing it cause I dont like how it reflects and looks blue in sunlight. Im happy to do the install if you want. Just PM me.
