2008 prelci 325d auto to 335d gearbox swap

Hi,

Looking to be tuning my 325d. The stock 6hp19 gearbox cannot handle much more power.

Wondering if a 6hp26 or 28 would fit. I don't see why it wouldn't just be a straight swap.

Only the late LCI 335d's got the 28, but all 330d's, N57 325d's and most 335d's got the 26, so they are more readily available, cheaper and should be a straight swap.

Hey buddy my 6hp21 in my 325d m57 developed a e clutch fault, did you have any luck on finding out if the 6hp26 for the m57 is a straight swap ?
