the real answer to all of this is that 335 drivers are more discerning, and therefore get lots of unnecessary warranty work done just to make sure the car is perfect at all times. 328 drivers just tell themselves "eh, what should i expect, it's a 328" and live with the little quirks that 335 drivers would force the dealer to get fixed.

^ haha you don't really believe that do you, hopefully you were joking its a pretty funny idea. Based on your hypothesis if 328s had the hpfp failure then they would all be very slow, you know because all the owners would be driving in limp mode and not bother to take it in for repair. Despite what you may think there are plenty of old ladies driving around in 335s that could care less whats under the hood.

I think we're done here. These guys are not going to admit they are wrong anyways, nor does anybody need them to or care to hear it. Joking about it is the only approach they can take.

We're good, bottom-line is we're all happy with the choice we've made with our cars. 328 owners be happy with your reliability and 335 owners be happy with the speed you have. Done deal.

Damn dude so insecure your gonna take shots at a car that is just not as powerful. I think I have been very objective in addressing the OPs question, but you just can not let it go. This thread is not about performance mods for a 328, if it was, I would say there aren't very many available for reasonable cost. Everyone knows the 335 is more powerful, does it make you feel better to tell me my car isn't as fast. If it does good I'm happy I can help you, I bet you really feel that power when you are whipping it around those parking garages. I love my car and for now it has really been great for me. Like someone else said, if having a 335 is the best thing in your life then I feel very bad for you, but for the rest of us they are just cars that we enjoy.

Now that the USED 335's are dropping in price, we will a lot more brilliant posters like this.

His car must be treating him good since it's on the road while your shit is in the shop.

And got damn you have to be the most insecure poster on this forum!

Yeah it's been a trend that's been here for a while, and just gets worse....

I have to admit though, while the douchebaggery is more prevalent in the 335 community, the rise has been across the board in general, to include the NA guys.

I'd love to know what BTTgman does when a M3 or M5 rolls next to him during his parking garage pimp races? He probably slide's down in his seat, rolls his windows up, and goes "man I dont want to be here right now".

No it's only with you dude. Some how your 2008 335 has turned into a Bugatti Veyron, and we all must worship you since 99.9% of the posters here probably cannot afford it. The insecurity that radiates from your ass probably gives you an extra 600hp boost. All that extra HP must come in handy when cruising up and down the parking garages. I bet you drive all nice and slow till you see someone and then you take off on them so that they can hear your sweet exhaust note, and the only thing they can do is shake their heads and go "wow that just happened. what a dick." And if it's a chick then I'm pretty sure you WOT that mofo to let her know you mean business.

I swear I could do a "Bud light presents Real Men of Genius" commerical on you alone.

Problem is the CR data is probably loaded against the 335 due to the HPFP issues on the 335. I've never had an issue with mine, and didn't even reply to the CR survey. If I had issues, I'd most likely filled it out and complained.

That being said, I never bought a BMW for reliability. CR has always butchered BMW and the other German cars over the years. I sold an Acura CL to get a better driving car. I chose the 335 for the extra power. Do I need it, nahh... Is it fun at the lights, etc, sure. But the 328=335 car wise, only difference is the extra nuts under the hood.

All I asked is how your performance mods on your 328 are working out. How on earth do you interpret that as an attack on your manhood???

Technically and Statistically, more parts = more risk = more possible problems.

In the end, I'm just that kind of guy who would pay for repair, have two more turbos and more fun driving experience.

So the data is skewed to make the 335 look unreliable because the 335 is ... unreliable? Oh this is too much fun.

And what makes the 335 special? Why would owners of that car have an axe to grind, and not owners of, say, every single other car made.
