Anyone have experience with JBSpeed?

So, my girlfriend ordered a few items from JBSpeed (A sponsor on here) www.jbspeed.com for me for christmas. She ordered the products more than TWO WEEKS before Christmas. Should have been plenty of time, right? Well, she has been in contact with them in regards to the whereabouts of the items she ordered since she didn't receive a tracking number or any other information. December 24th she received an email saying that her items STILL haven't even shipped out. Needless to say, Christmas morning I got to open an empty box with a picture of what she ordered and a note saying "hopefully these will make it here..... eventually?" Later on CHRISTMAS DAY she got an email saying that the items finally shipped out (supposedly )

Has anyone else had an experience with this..... "company" on here? And have you had a similar problem? I just don't see how they can be a SPONSOR on here with this kind of customer service? I know she ordered with adequate time because she also ordered a set of LED lights from HighPerformanceBulbs the SAME day she ordered the items from JBSpeed (same time actually, literally, one order after the other) and my LED bulbs were wrapped up nicely under the tree for me. She said she received a tracking number saying the LED bulbs shipped out the SAME DAY that she ordered them, and she received them within a week of ordering them. So why is it that JBSpeed took more than TWO WEEKS to even ship them out?

I wouldn't worry too much about it.. I have bought couple parts from that vendor with no problems and I wouldn't hesitate to buy from him in the future if I need to. The items probably weren't in stock but it'll eventually get to you..

If they weren't in stock you think he would have contacted someone to at least let them know..... or make a note on the website that they are on back order. My girlfriend ordered on Friday, sent the money to his paypal address and it was there Friday. It wasn't until Wednesday of next week that she had to contact him again to let him know she sent a payment and inquired about the status of her order. His response was that he'd ship the items out next week. Meanwhile she's trying to get these items as a Christmas gift (time sensitive) and he'll "ship it out next week"? Seriously, what customer service? If they weren't in stock you would think a credible vendor would have contacted the customer as soon as the order was placed to let the customer know the item(s) were on back order. Instead SHE had to inform him that the order was even placed, and then his response was he'd ship it next week? To me that just sounds like a lazy vendor who wants to ship at HIS convenience, rather than at the customer's time of order. Like I said, the other supplier she ordered from shipped it the SAME day and it was here within the week.

If I didn't think there'd be more hassle I'd just have her cancel the order and buy the items from somewhere else (a more reputable supplier) but if we're having this much trouble with them shipping the item out, then I can only guess what kind of problems I'd have with trying to cancel an order from them. The vendor got what he wanted (HER MONEY) so what F.uck does he really give at this point?

I think it's a aftermarket BMW vendor thing.

I've ordered parts from two different places now but I won't name names but I will tell you they are not the same place that the OP's girl used.

The first place sent out my parts right away.
The 2nd place didn't ship until a week after I bought everything and it took another week for everything to arrive.

I ordered a second time from the first place and after not getting an email that my items were shipped I emailed the company and they told me they had parts on back order and will ship out in a few days.

I've learned through those 3 transactions I can't rely on anything in a timely manner.

You think vendors would make more of an attempt in lieu of the holiday season. You know, better customer service and such?

Sorry to hear with your misfortune Miller, hopefully it wasn't in a time critical situation like a holiday or birthday. If you don't mind, would you at least PM me who the vendors were? Due to this irrational experience I'm composing a list of vendors NOT to buy from for future purchases. Just because you had a bad experience with them doesn't nominate them for my list though, I'll browse the forums and see if I can get more reviews on such companies. I'm just trying to eliminate this type of "service" from any place I decide to spend my (or my girl's) hard earned money in the future. Once in a while is understandable, I mean, we're human after all, but if a company is notorious for such delays and non-communication, then I'd like to avoid doing business with them.
