i got my front plates, just because eh i figure the holes are already there might as well use them, i mean it would look weird if i had four holes exposed on my front bumper, and plus don't want to get busted by the cops of course........seen it happen to my dad when he was driving his 95 odyssey with no front plates.

Im too scared not to have one. I was convinced one night when I pulled over at a DUI checkpoint. Granted, I was relieved that a fix it ticket was my only consequence, but scared straight as I had had a couple beers earlier in the night.

Its foolish not to have one for vanities sake since you can get pulled over for the plate and end up with consequences you may not have had otherwise.

I tend to agree with you. However, I don't drink (or use) anymore so I don't ever have to worry about getting pulled over except for a possible moving violation. So I'm banking on not getting pulled over specifically for no front plate.

So far so good.

I dont blame ya, I never had front plates on a car for at least 10+ years until that night, and I have never been cited for it either, even when getting tickets for other things like speeding.

Heck, I'm not running ANY plate, front or rear. Logic being that the E92 is a brand new model, and my chances for not getting a ticket for no front plate are better off by leaving the dealer's CENTURY WEST BMW rear "plate" advertising on. (My car is white and the ad plate white background with blue letters; so it doesn't look horrible.) I have a little contest going with myself to see if I can get away with it for the entire two year lease. It's only a fix-it ticket anyway.

IMO, front USA license plates look bad on the E92. If I do get a ticket, I'll put the rear plate on and get some temporary adhesive for the front, have it signed off, and promptly remove it.

Assael said they had been fined before so they HAD to install the front plate. I took it off, since they gave me a due bill that they would fix my bumper after delivery. Well, the jackasses drilled an extra hole, so it looks like sh*t.

I guess it's just more motivation to hurry and order an aero kit front bumper......

Oh yea, no front plate.

Riding MD state plates on the west coast, I prefer to keep them on the front cause it is enough of a hassel with out of state plates to begin with but don't feel like paying Cali prices to change the state.

I honestly want to take them off, but honestly, I don't want to deal with the cops, especially because I'm doing an oh-so-good-job of not dealing with them now

++1 Bwahahahah. Also running a white E92. Still leaving plates off. Thomas "plate" surrounded by USC Alumni (in Westwood). Already got a speeding ticket. No mention of the missing plates.
