Very good experience from Mark at Pacific BMW
Hey guys, I just want to share my experience buying my first BMW. Tonight, I was scheduled to go pick up my 335i. About 7 weeks ago, the dealership quoted my trade in at $22,000 and said that the car won't depreciate much. And if it goes down by $500 or more, they will split the cost with me 50/50.
Tonight I went in and Mark, my sales person, told me that the dealership was only going to give me $20,800 for it. I felt that a $1,200 hit in the 7 weeks period with only 1,000 miles driven is quite much. Mark agreed with me, and he said that I should not do the deal tonight. He will take my car to his broker tomorrow to see if he can get me more money. In addition to this, he lowered the price of my 335i for the inconvenience. He originally sold me the car at $900 above invoice, and he lowered it to $700 above invoice. To go on further, he said that he would give me his own car to take home and drive for tonight and tomorrow so I won't be carless. And he would personally go to my house to deliver my car. I declined this offer as I felt bad. I must say that despite the dealership trying to pull one on me, he's made this experience very wonderful and have gone out of his way to help me. Just want to share my experience with buying my first BMW. |

^Tomorrow I will have it 100%. Too bad it's going to rain tomorrow and Friday though, lol. I guess I will have to give it a nice thorough cleaning job this weekend
