So does this engine cover just "pop" off, or are those screwheads functional?
I remember reading an older post about removal of the cover and the screwheads were aesthetic and non-functional.
Curious as one needs to remove the cover to change plugs, yes? (Not that the plugs will need changing for many moons...) (and those back plugs must be a beeoch to change...)

I would like to remove mine just to see what is underneath. Is it easy to do? Is it held in place with pins, front and back. This is a 2019 x5 40i 3.0l engine. Thanks.
