Does adding the BMS powerbox makes the "D" mode shifts more aggressively like in "DS"?

no, it does not change the shifting programs. however, it may shift a bit higher due to the added throttle mapping making the ecu think you have more throttle input than you actually do. Once you get used to it, you can drive just as smoothly as before the tune.

I dont think you fully understood his question mike. I beleive he was asking if the car is even more aggressive when the car is in "DS" more after the tune is installed.
Amazing throttle response in normal "D" (Drive) and even more in "DS" sport mode.

You will feel the extra power on takeoff from a standstill in "D". I dabbled with "DS" mode a little on takeoff and its crazy! Dabbled because Mrs323i was with me lol.

I don't think he was asking that. he was asking if the shifting in D mode becomes more aggressive "like in DS".

the BMS does not change the transmission programming. But because the BMS sends more throttle signal, it will behave as if you have more throttle input, so yes, it makes the car more responsive. But the shift patterns don't actually change, though everything does happen a bit quicker (the trans will downshift quicker than before). And throttle response in D feels more like it did in DS (before the tune).

D just becomes a lot more enjoyable, though you can still drive relaxed, and get your early gas-saving shift points. I've actually been getting slightly better gas mileage ever since I installed the BMS.

No, The sprintbooster only remaps the throttle, while the PBX remaps the throttle and changes the ECU mapping to give you an additional 8-10 hp/tq with the added throttle sensitivity

Included Maps

Map 0: --Disables PBX, all signals pass through
Map 1: --30% throttle remapping, performance tuning on
Map 2: --60% throttle remapping, performance tuning on
Map 3: --100% throttle remapping, performance tuning on
Map 4: --30% throttle remapping, performance tuning off
Map 5: --60% throttle remapping, performance tuning off
Map 6: --100% throttle remapping, performance tuning off
Map 7: -- Throttle remapping disabled, performance tuning on

So I know my review was a bit short, but that's because my experience initially was a bit short. But not to beat a dead horse I enjoy the car more and more each time I get into it now.. Mike you did an amazing job developing this nifty little gadget.

The car feels amazingly smooth, even watching the RPM response on the speedo is particularly impressive because its so responsive. Honeslty very few words can describe what a completely new, smooth, and torqy this product delivers. I was cheesin like a kid goin to "Chucky Cheese" when I returned from a 3 block test drive immediately after install. I strongly and highly recommend this tunr to ALL N/A E9x's.

I'm even gonna go out on a limb and say Mike has enabled the vehicles eqpuiped with the tune to run better that BMW could!!??!! Lol .. Again Great Job Mike!! And thank you!!!
