If this is still around in another year or so, I will be all in. I am going to wait some time to see if anyone has any lingering problems afterwards like some 335 tunes did.

Just installed mine today on a euro E92 325i (2.5L) , installation is way easier when you actually are in the process of doing it, at first the instructions looked complex however it it all makes sense when you've got the car all apart
i went for a 5 minute spin and i can feel the throttle response but obviously have to wait for the ecu to adapt fully over the next few days Mike@ n54 tuning was really easy to deal with and answered all of my emails within the hour despite the large time zone differences as I'm in Australia. Thanks Mike |

Six Speed
I just installed it on the weekend in my 2008 323i 6speed. The throttle response was noticed immediately and in my mind worth the expense right there. I look at the performance enhancement as a bonus as the car is just so much more lively. Reminds me of my old 535i and 633 CSi.

After reading about everyone's experience with it, it will definately be the next thing I buy for my car....just have to wait for some extra money to come my way...

I have a 2008 4 door 6 speed 328 XI.
The chip is the real deal, although I'm running it with the BMW performance exhaust which was installed April 2008 (the BMS was installed maybe 1-2 months ago). The car is just crazy aggressive now, and I have run it on Map 1,2 and 3. After playing around with it, I have decided that 2 is my favorite. I agree with earlier posts that the chip seems to have made the exhaust more agressive - and throttle remap 3 was cool, except that once you push down like 1 inch on the gas - thats it. I like the feeling of being at half throttle and having more in reserve when needed. I have always liked my car - and have always told people that the actual power was the weakest link. These two upgrades have changed that - its a completely different animal then it was when I bought it. I was skeptical - in the end my decison was driven by the cost. It's $299 - so I got it. And it works - no question, it adds noticeable power. Make sure you give your expectations time to allow the ECU to adjust, the power arrives over the course of a few days. |

In your opinion, what is the performance difference between the BMS and the exhaust (besides price).
The exhaust gave me better throttle response, and a better high end. sounds like the BMS gives more of the same (and a little more torque lower in the RPM band?) Quote:
