There is a difference between the 3 stage manifolds in the n52b25 and the n52b30. The ports are larger on the 3 litre. Other than that there is no difference that I am aware of.

As someone that has 2 euro spec 330i's and 1 euro spec 325i I can confirm that the 325i euro spec which is equipped with the N52B25 OL 218hp (2.5 Liter) does come with 3 stage manifold (2 DISAs) as mentioned, just like the N52B30 OL 258 hp (3 Liter). I just want to mention, I'm not familiar with the 323i and its manifold, I've heard they have 1 DISA, the big one, but I don't know for sure, if you see 2, then you have 2. So the difference is in the ports as mentioned and the N52B30 OL manifold has 5mm bigger ports therefore bigger ?pipes?, not sure if there's specific name for those, but I will attach image below and if you take a close look, it is noticeable.

My 2006 325i Euro (n52b25) has the 3 stage manifold, I think it came standard.
When I get around to it this year I'll take it in for a tune.

Hello I recently got a 3 stage intake from a n52b25 engine.

My questions are: can I put it on my n52b30? And what is the difference between the b25 and the b30 intake? also what tune should I use.

Keep in mind I am fairly new to all this.

As you can see from the previous posts, the N52B25OL (3 stage) intake is smaller than the N52B30OL (3 stage), I would not suggest putting it on an N52B30O0 engine with 258hp. If you got the lower output variants of N52B30 it may be an upgrade since it has disa valves but I'm not sure, however in such case you will need to modify the power class of your ECU and a few more things in order for the DISA valves and engine to operate properly.

ok I get it I have the 215hp n52b30 so I guess it would be a little better. But from what you say I think I will just get the b30 version and sell this one.
