My car arrived finally at Halifax just yesterday and now although I tried to get a CN RAIL registration to track my car, I was refused as I have no genuine business to use their services....
Anyone here have the ability to track using CN Rails Velocity tracking service using a VIN???

They may "flat-bed" your vehicle from Halifax to Toronto. That's how my car was transported to Toronto.

More like "cramp into a double decker transporter with a bunch of other cars and sped down the highway doing the bouncy bouncy". Mine was shipped from Halifax to Toronto that way.

Mine basically disappeared from my radar after arriving Halifax on June 12. Then my dealer called on June 21 asking for my insurance info. Car was unloaded at the dealership that day (Thursday), ready for delivery on Monday 25. I was busy running around that week so I didn't get there until Thursday June 28 to sign the paper and take the car (I know, I know.....)

If they ship it by rail (like my E60) it may take up to 3 or 4 weeks. Most of the time the car would be sitting in railroad yards, packed like sardines and soaking up the sun (or covered with rain or snow), waiting for its turn to be freed from the log jam and picked-up. But once it is in the rail car it is covered (sort of), not flying in the wind on top (or in the back) of a packed vehicle transporter.

Mine got on the train in Halifax in a day or two. I think it took 2.5 days to get to Montreal, then it sat there for almost a week waiting to get on the truck to Ottawa. Toronto may be better, since the train goes right to Toronto.

With a little help from a board member, all I can say is that the trip from Halifax to Toronto can take anywhere from 2 weeks to less than 1 week....for me it has taken just 5 days !!!!

With the help of slapmyfro, his car was offloaded from the boat in halifax on july 25
I was able to trace his car to Toronto Macmil Yard, ON
on 31 Jul 21:01 ET
ETA destination: Ingersoll, ON on 03 Aug 21:55

Hey guys....my car was on the same ship......and it arrives tomorrow at the dealership....
Same tracking info provided by bunman.
Now if you need to track it , go to www.lhf.com and enter the last 8 characters of your VIN and see the status....that is assuming this is the carrier for your car to the dealership...most likely it is.

The tension mounts....cant wait to see everyones pics !

all cars arrived from faust in halifax destined for toronto on july 25.

from there they have been on the train to a cn destination, and from there they are being dispersed to the dealerships

i just checked the website above and this is what i got
