Mine went slightly higher, maybe its because of me flooring it whenever theres a tunnel in sight..

Exhaust DP won't give you better fuel consumption, maybe worse. I doubt tune will either.

More power = more fuel consumption.

Its your driving style that's changed with the PE, not the PE.

With each upgrade I've done (Tune, then DP's, then FMIC & CP, then Aplina A6 flash) I've found that if anything, my fuel consumption has improved..

My driving style hasn't changed, so assuming everything is more free flowing - and thus not working as hard, you'd expect better fuel economy - no? Highway trips are pushing 800k's per tank!

Granted that it has a bucket load more power, so if I get on it - well - lets not go there.

Rear mufflers are next on my list and although I love the PE - I like to be a little different too.. Stay tuned! BUT I think kaitan is on the money - New exhaust brings a heavier right foot just to hear it!

Not necessarily. I run daily with 298kW atrw and my avg fuel consumption is 10.2L/100kms. It's probably due to the fact my exhaust is raspy so I drive it like a granny to avoid the rasp.

All I'm saying is that fuel consumption is more based on the way you drive and the displacement of the engine. If you don't use boost you don't use that much fuel and that's where all the power gains are.

I didn't find an exact answer for my drop in fuel ecc. but after taking the tune off and swapping back to BP ultimate car is back to normal now. Car was over fueling like a b^%tch on United 100. once i get my ETS cooler going to put cobb back on.

United 100 contains ethanol and on average your car will burn ethanol at a higher rate (20-30%). I use around 30% E85 and my fuel consumption is anywhere between 18L-23L/100klms.

hey JB4

well it was like the tune was totally messed up on these 3 tanks of 100 i ran.. you could smell fuel all the time and I had rotten egg smell for a day that just vanished after i went back to BP ultimate.. (car was on drive and sport maps.) the smell was so bad my neighbor thought i had a cat stuck in the engine bay.

I may have, but normally if you have catalytic converter issues it doesn't go away that fast so i am confused about it. since detuning and going back to BP economy is back to normal and the smell has totally gone.

I also wonder about the cobb s1 drive map my car hasn't liked it in the past.

regarding the PE it's great throttle is heaps lighter and I am always looking for a excuse to just drop the throttle to get some pop and burble action hahaha!
