April Grassroots motorsports

In the april grassroots motorsports there is an article about the differences between having no driver aids (ABS, dtc, DSC) and having all of them.

The car they use for all their testing is an arctic 325i with a set of 17x8 asa ar1's and 225/45/17 tires all around.

They do wet and dry runs on the tirerack's test course with everything on, dsc off, dsc and dtc off, and everything off (they pull the abs fuse)

They don't say much about the car, but it's still a pretty good article, and there are some decent pictures of a 325i !!!

Ok, sounds interesting, so what was the conclusion? Or are you going to make us go buy/read the magazine?

oops!!!

Conclusion was that with everything on it takes almost all the fun out of the vehicle in autocross-like situations in both the dry and wet.

in the dry or the wet, having just abs or abs and DTC is similar in speed but requires slightly different approches.

turning everything including abs off in an e90 is a mistake because of a perceived extreme front brake bias.
