335is - CONTINENTAL EXTREMECONTACT DW XL
I just purchased these tires that are replacing Michellin Pilot tires I had before. I got these on tire rack that had amazing reviews and now I'm regretting these tires 100%.
1. I can't make sudden and changes (avoiding rapidly slowing down cars on the freeway) without the car swaying left to right with the traction light coming on. I almost got in two 2 accidents because I changing lanes is apparently dangerous on the freeway for me. With my old tires I could switch to any lane I want at any speed under 100 and it grips the road just fine. Info: Rears are not matching the front (this has NEVER been an issue for me before. ) Any advice? 200 miles on them. I don't trust them at all and I need to know what to do before calling tire rack. |

Continental has a 60 day money back guarantee or something. Look into it. Stick with pilot super sports, they're better in every way.

+1 on the return option, but they also say that it takes some time to get the release agent, etc. off of new tires, so they may get better after some driving.
I'd reach out to Gary from Tirerack who is on this forum. |

What is the size and date stamp on the tires? I had this exact same problem and so did at least one other on here. I returned them and got NT05s. I'll find my thread.

When I first put on my DWs it felt like i was driving a Buick.
The car was mushy and downright unstable on the highway. I hated it. But it was very smooth and quiet. The tires slowly firmed up but it took a few thousand miles to become acceptable. Adding a few PSI helped in the meantime. As another poster said, if you are an enthusiast, you can't beat PSSs. The S04s are a good second choice. Last edited by driverman; 11-03-2015 at 07:48 AM.. |

Correct, the DW is a softer, quieter riding summer performance tire, while the Michelin Pilot Super Sport is the way to go for better grip and faster steering response.
Our customer service dept will be happy to walk you through the return process for the Continental satisfaction guarantee. Call our main number, then selection option "2" or dial ext "4360".
