JB4 stg2 Flex Fuel issues

I installed my Flex fuel wires yesterday on my n55 according to the install instructions but my car won't run. It turns on and shuts off. The only thing I can think of where I may have gone wrong is the Pin installation on the DB25/AMP shell. I counted 21 slots/pins with the pins facing me. Was that the correct way or should I have counted the slots from the back of the plug where the wires are inserted?

Please help as my car is not currently running, thanks

I'm pretty sure the slots have numbers on them.

There are numbers you can see (but they are quite small). Worst case if you need the car in the mean time, just reconnect the factory fuel connector and leave the 2 (male and female) connector of the JB4 disconnected. The car needs the fuel pressure info to run so if you did something wrong it won't work fine.

In any case you can always email Terry and you'll get an answer withing an hour

You can also take a quick pic of the pin you added in the connector.

Once you get that resolved, make sure you set Open Loop to 50 instead of what's written in the install pdf.

Terry said last week that:

The new default for that is 50.

By the way I suggest buying a pin removal tool. If not removing that pin is going to be hell.

Yep if they are numbered, I most probably didnt put it into the right slot. My eye sight sucks so that's probably why I didn't see it.

Anyone know what tools can use to remove the pin?

Yeah, don't remove that pin without a pin removal tool. Just run with both JB4 male/female connectors disconnected in the mean time. This is if you inserted in the wrong position...

Tool needed: http://www.digikey.ca/product-search...?k=dsub%20tool
