I have asked this before but never received an answer:
Who would want to pay hundreds of dollars to rig some contraption so they could watch DVDs or TV or whatever AT A LOUSY 480x320dpi AND 8-BIT COLOR?! |

I donīt even have I-drive.
Then again I donīt even have a TV at home. Why would I want one in my car? Television is an industrialized Massdestruction of Lifetime. Iīll pass...

yea, watching DVDs in 8-bit would suck. And i dont think i would get one because im never a passanger in my own car with the liberty of watching a movie.
aside from that, i agree that it would be pimp, but not for a bunch of money. also, i thought it was odd on that page that it kept repeating that you have to "cut 3 wires here and cut three wires there". sounds terrible to me. as for our freind Tierfreund, get a TV at home, at the least you will be informed about world and local events!

it is very informative, providing you want to learn about what they are broadcasting. As far as persuing things that i am interested in that are not on TV, which they usually are not, i like to use the internet.

But TV certainly is the worst of all media. Itīs not even about entertainment but about addiction to it for commercial reasons. I used to watch a lot of TV but gradually over the years I have gotten weary of it and watched less and less. Some years ago I noticed myself not watching at all anymore and got rid of the set. I canīt say that I feel less informed. Actually not having a TV frees up so much time, Iīm probably better informed than most. The internet is indeed a usefull source of information but only if you remember to be even more prudent in counterchecking all information you think you gain from it. The anonymity of the net leads to an even higher garbage factor than older media. Ups I think weīre by now....
