Supercharger stuff (MILVs+AA+BPC)
Excited for the things to come!
Doing some minor preparations for the distant future when more boost is added. Aiming for the last week of May or the first week in June to go back down to BPC. Work and all that. :

I'm stoked!
Im sure I'm gonna make similar numbers as Moser, but Idk how different it'll be with the MILVs intact!- Eager to find out.. Hopefully I have 'nuff left over coin to get that dragy doo-dad. I'd like to contribute to that data compilation you guys got going on, got just under 200 miles of a drive back to Virginia Beach, and alot of good roads to gather some times on

Heres the thread! It is from a ways back- But its good to know what I should be expecting. However, if I am hindered in power, I really am gonna have to look at the exhaust set up. possibly go with the supersprint mids and all that.. We shall see!

I definitely wouldn't mind seeing it all in a non-stock photo.

I think I want to be supercharged as well....
So you're doing a final N/A dyno and then a Supercharged dyno? What did you tell ESS? They require the car to be stock to buy the kit - did you just toss the cable? I wonder if they would give me $500 off if I opted out of their tune... I'm super stoked for you man - I see 330WHP in your future! |

I feel weird asking, but I asked if they had discounts and they had it for military soll I saved like 10 percent, thankfully. Yes, I will be doing one last N/A dyno with the following mods: MILVs, Euro Int. Pro Dry S filter, headers, custom exhaust ,(and as stated in the past, it probably needs to be tweaked. ), Alfa N tune. And then the dyno for the SC. The 2nd or third week of May I will be doing a precautionary compression test, and having arp studs installed just in case I find a way to get a smaller pulley machined to the setups specifications for moar boost next year. Thanks for rooting for me! Definitely feelsgoodman.

It will be interesting to see what your boost curve and max boost will be with your mods.
MILVs, headers and exhaust will all lower your boost. Lower boost and more power because more air will go into the cylinder and get out, less 'stacking up' of boost in the intake manifold. I have a smaller Vortech pulley that can be made to work with a shim washer and machining of the mounting bolt surface shorter. I will look at the needed specs when I get home from work. |

Thank you for putting this out there! Forgot to mention this! I am gonna look at the usb supplied with the kit here in a few minutes, hopefully the instructions are there so I can hook you up as well... If I ever had to get a new pulley, I would definitely compensate you and your machinist pal! I am pretty socially awkward in person (I am sure the cats @ BPC can confirm... lmao...) and me sitting there trying to explain it to somebody will probably just stress me out beyond reason...

I have been venturing the idea alot, I saw someone post an older thread to one of the current ones... http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1412435 (FML this is the only thread I could find whilst searching...) BUT! That housing above can help make this piece below happen! (Which is the elusive thread I am trying to find! Homeboy had that housing the product from below and an intercooler mounted in the center. Which I really need to find what intercooler he used, as it appeared to mount seamlessly with a little finesse to make it happen!) http://n5 tuner.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=55_105_135& products_id=309&zenid=a0298921f643433d2ad6801c2dbd 728a#.WuTZSogvyUk I plan to top out at like 10... MAYBE 12 pounds. I'll see how it turns out- Especially as Marty mentioned above, losing some boost in the process in the midst of the other mods in place. And what turns you off to meth/water cooling, if you dont mind my asking?

And I am also gonna have to fabricate some sort of "blocker" to put under the driver side vents in my hood to keep the filter dry on rainy days, since I don't have a garage to put her in.
Shouldn't be too bad... Just gotta get some metal clips probably jb welded to the underside and find a nice conforming material to slip in~
