MHD Stage 2+ 27+ Psi overboost
Hey guys, I have been tracing some high IATs and overboost for quite a while.
Usually MHD Stage 2+ targets about 18 Psi of boost, but for some reason my car overboosts to crazy numbers. I had to buy the N20 TMAP just to get better data. I've hit 28 Psi with the sensor and I am pretty sure I did more than this before having the sensor and knowing... I decided not to push the car anymore until I've got another used but working boost solenoid from another 335. Installed it yesterday and I did a log today but with same results as before. Overboosting and active wastegate cycles. I don't know what do to or where to look at anymore. Here is the log: https://datazap.me/u/thegoodthebadth...og=0&data=4-20 Could it could be the vacuum line? I wouldn't suppose it because then I would constantly have a boost problem I think. Could the wastegate's simple mechanics be failing? Also, can the Diverter Valve be at the base of this behaviour. In my mind a bad diverter valve would cause underboost, am I wrong?

You are seeing fake high boost due to massive throttle closure. The sensor is in the charge pipe, throttle closes and pressure builds in the charge pipe, not the intake manifold/engine. Did you check the N20 sensor setting on MHD? Do you have traction control fully off?

Next thing I am trying is vacuum line since it is pretty cheap.

Just look at your logs. Actual throttle is at 30-40% until 5k then starts increasing. You aren't going over the load requested so the tune doesn't think it's over boosting.

Alright so how do I go about that. What could be going wrong here or what should I look to fix.

Here is a Stage 1+ log before I swapped the boost solenoid.
https://datazap.me/u/thegoodthebadth...0&data=4-10-20 I'll try to get a stock one

I can't recall but usually, I always press the pedal right before the kick down and leave it there.

I have been running the Stage 1+ for a few days now and overboost still occurs. I noticed it is specifically whenever I change gear along with sharp throttle closure that comes a few seconds before.
I've had my charge pipe detach from the throttle body because of all the pressure it was probably building. Anyone knows if this steep of a throttle closure is normal and if it is really the cause of the overboost? Is there something hardware related that can affect this throttle closure or it is only related to DME control and tuning? https://datazap.me/u/thegoodthebadth...data=4-5-20-23

Well he might have a point, I have the GFB DV+ which is spring activated, but no one's had an issue with them and I don't quite see how it might help my situation.
