So did we figure out whether or not to keep the DP fix in for n55 and why it is or not isnok?

I will tell you why its NOT OK

The DME uses the lambda and o2 sensor to calculate fuel trims over some period of time. If you trick the DME with a flat value, you are going to have bad trims. Bad trims means bad A/F ratio. Thats not a problem you want to have for a DP. Its batter to leave the sensor alone and mask the code.

No there was no need to remove it.

I installed a multi tap switch so that I can turn it on or off as needed.

I am trying to get my hands on a DP fix for my n54. Need to pass my emission test, which is becoming a pain. Any help?
