Question ?? Where to buy CF wrap ??

Hey guys. My e39 m5 friend wants to do a interior trim wrapping project on our cars. I know some of you guys might have experiences in this topic. Few questions:

1. What company have quality CF vinyl Wrap without spending an arm and a leg?

2. Where to buy?

3. What's better look: silver cf or black cf

Thanks guys!

Definitely go with 3m branded material, you won't be disappointed. I have personally had experience with 3m's di-noc and 3m's scotchprint vinyls. They are both self-adhesive and work great with the interior parts for my e92.

The di-noc is a little bit thicker and a little bit harder to work with around corners, but you can make hundreds of mistakes and with a little bit of heat it goes back to the way you got it pretty much.

The scotchprint was almost as good and a little thinner, but much easier to work around the corners.

I would say no to the silver CF, i think black is much sexier, but i didn't go with the traditional matte black CF, i went with 3m's new gloss black print on the scotchprint vinyl. It gives the interior a little bit more pop and makes it look different than a stock m3

I bought both my rolls of di-noc and scotchprint from vendors on the forums, because they were simply the best prices. But as long as you get the 3m di-noc or scotchprint, it doesnt matter where you get it from.

I know pyspeed.com sells 3m di-noc and there are a bunch of other websites that sell di-noc as well.

I got my glossy 3m scotchprint cf vinyl from NycE93M3 off this thread.

Since you are located in NY, and if you are going for the gloss look, I would definitely hit him up and save on shipping costs.

Also for cost wise, first time wrapping my trim on my e92 i bought a 4x5 roll, in case i made mistakes and had to re-wrap etc. Second time I bought a 4x5 roll as well but landed up using only about 4x3 of it (was able to wrap my steering wheel trim with the extra =D) For 3m material expect to pay 90-130 dollars depending on the amount you get for wrapping an e92 interior

Good Luck!
