Well we have a 1-year warranty on all our products jus to protect against any defects in the lights. They will last much longer than that however and we still have some of our older versions of lights working after 4-5 years too. We have designed them with quality components so they will not fail and are made to last.

Hope you consider making these for the early build 07s. I'd be interested in the H8 160s, not the V5s. I don't care for the adjustability, and would rather the lumen output. I'd justify the cost for these.

With the early 2007 coupes the brightness difference wont be as significant between the V5's and 160's as well so you would most likely never see a difference anyways

In order to eliminate the error messages the early 2007 coupe models dim slightly compared to the standard lights we offers. the dimming would be a bit more if it were in the H8 160's compared to the H8 V5's.
As well both the LUX H8 V5 and the LUX H8 160's are incredibly bright and by themselves it would be hard to tell them apart when they are equal color.

I got mine on Monday and installed them shortly after. I'm very happy with how these look and they look 100x better compared to the stock halogen H8 bulbs.
Here's some pictures I took but they don't do the proper justice from a phone camera. View post on imgur.com |

Yeah I've noticed the further away you are the better it is to see them. I'll try and take some more pictures from a distance tomorrow and post them.

OEM bulbs draw 35w, how much wattage do these draw at full illumination (which is what is claimed on your site that they will run at, at all times)? I ask because I would hate to overheat anything inside the headlight housings, specially since the OEM bulbs never run at 100% and when the headlights are on, they go down to about half.
Thanks! |
