Will this allow more extensive coding like what some of you guys do with laptops?

Like I want to adjust programming on my Ediff, brakes, and dsc settings because I now have a lsd and am doing a big brake kit. I added a m3 steering rack and want to see if I can access some programming for the servotronic assist.

I know there are menus for these settings that can be accessed with laptop. Can this do that?

I asked this specifically to Dylan@BimmerGeeks. He wasn't specific in his response other than saying all DSC nannies would be able to be coded.

I too run M BBK and will be installing a WaveTrac LSD that's sitting in my garage. Can't wait to get off of work and try this!

What are some of the things that everyone is changing?

I played with mine and changed 'fog lights off with high beams- to not active'.
I will have to see if yearly state inspection fails for this, maybe.

Only other I can use is battery registration and air bag reset.

I want to be able to code off the Ediff and code the brakes for “performance brakes”, and generally do all the things mentioned here:

http://www.onelapx1.com/blog/how-to-...w-actually-fun

Do you see options for these items CobraMarty

I couldn't either.
My son says its an option on the steering stalk and the only choices are 1 or 3 blinks.

I wanted 5 blinks also.

You have to code that stuff manually - by default there are only options for 1 or 3 blinks.

BTW, datalogging support was just added.
