Anyway imho I think it would look great with just the E46 M3 hood bulge with it's included vents. I think anything more would be too much and anything less just isn't enough. That's my take on it at least
I think that is a good idea as well. I know these tend to get hot towards the firewall so any way to extract heat would be a good thing. As well as the Cowl delete.

I am thinking the E46 vent and bulge only. Especially because the way it contours, the cut would be much easier to make. I just have to make sure it is there. I want this car to look like an M3, but not necessarily BE an M3.
I agree completely with you. I think that route could be an aesthetically pleasing and functional mod. Plus, the powerdome on the E46 is purely cosmetic. The E9X M3 powerdome is functional in the fact that the engine wouldn't clear the hood without it. Keep us updated on the progress of this

Will do. Here is a little "Before and after" right now. It's going to have quite a few changes over the next few weeks still. That's why I have not dedicated paint to it yet.

Crazy that I bought it on my Birthday may 10th....

Got an ALMOST full set of window trim for $20. It's in immaculate condition. Now I can paint my spare set gloss black. I was actually nervous about this part, but it was easy PZ.

This will set off my car more than anything I feel. Especially once the mirror bases are gloss black.

Parts are piling up again. Met a new N54 friend and we helped strip down his donor car.

I now have a black parcel shelf, Black rear seat belt covers, Black seat belts and black carpet.

I think I am going to do a black center console and dye the tops of the doors black. It will be an amazing 2 tone

Currently working on figuring the hood out. Will probably be a few weeks before it's finished.

Went with a new BOV / Charge pipe set up and painted the beat up old one. Going to be doing it right and tapping the manifold this week and giving her a blast. Still have to sand out some imperfections and spray another coat.

Also, this is the BEST set up for using the stock Aux / charging. Eliminates all noise and works perfectly. Finally no more interference. This was a problem with all of my BMW's.

The right side Mirror cap also showed up. I finally have two full sets of mirrors. Pretty stoked about that. They were cheap, but not "Cheap Cheap".

Can you elaborate more on the aux/charging picture? I bought an oem y cable and hated it. I've had tune2air a few months and it's great.

This has a Ground loop so the terrible feedback you get, especially while charging, is no longer there.

I did a good amount to the car in the past few days. I finally got around to painting and installing the Charge pipe and BOV. While I was there I walnut blasted the intake. It was not terrible, but it was not great either. The manifold was a COMPLETE PITA. Also, almost started my car on fire from the bracket on the manifold touching the starter. Oops.

Vader solutions has an amazing adapter that made the installation a breeze.

I was also able to finally install the full mirror set. They are still in primer, but it almost matches Hood is being worked on this week. Pretty stoked to see things come together.

Installed my charge pipe and walnut blasted the intake. Found out that the stock airbox no longer fits. Had to drive 10 miles, so I improvised Also pulled the engine from my friends 335i.

Sold my M-Sport front bumper. Also my spare fender and rear bumper.

Ordered the final part, the M3 replica front bumper. Should be here next week.

I'm surprised my little lexus fit all of this !!!

I just got a ridiculous deal on these..... I will take better pictures in the morning.

The build is coming together still. Just slowed a little. Found my paint code as well that I will be spraying

Thank you!

Hood is taking longer than expected. I started another job this week so I got a bit behind on it.

Got some Carbon goodies

Thinking of doing a slightly smaller logo on the brakes.

Brake rebuild kit came in. I also sanded and re-cleared the uber cheap carbon fiber spoiler. It's not 100%, but carbon never is. I am impressed with how it came out though

Might have a few more updates coming in shortly.

Laid a second layer of clear. Will sand it one more time and perfect it. Should be painting it all within 3 weeks.

Finally able to remove my side vents. Little parts will be painted here and there. STOKED.

I do not know why the link is not working?

So this just sort of fell in my lap. Was a little rough around the edges, but savable. I did a quick sand just to shine it up again.

My garage is a disaster. The bumper and hood are not attached. I am stoked, found the hood for $140. So I no longer have to custom mod mine. I probably will still anyways.

I'm just happy the fitment is good.

I will be laying paint down in the next few weeks.

I have some more updates this week as well. Just ordered all index 12 injectors. Excited to say the least!

Man, if I got that car for $3k, it would already be single turbo'd. Forget about the looks.

I'm happy with ~400hp I have now with full bolt ons. Now that I have a stage 2+ Fuel pump E85 will be fun....

Now that my ban is lifted and I have lost all of my Rep, its time to post updates!

Got a ton of parts. Going in the booth for paint at the end of the month.

Full black interior swap is here. Also picked up a random assortment of other interior parts.

Full ST Coilovers

9 Injectors (3 11's and 6 12's)

Probably more stuff I am forgetting.
