Intake voiding warranty?

So I'm thinking about getting the AFE or BMS intake but I'm curious if anyone has taken their car in with one of these on and gotten a bunch of grief from the dealer?

I really don't want to go through the hassle of swapping out the intake every time I take the car in nor do I want to buy the BMW Performance unit (over priced).

In particular I would be taking the car to Zimbrick BMW in Madison if anyone has had a modified car for warranty service there...?

me and kiddo do mod our cars. the thing is you really depends on which service adviser you talk to at zimbrick. i mean worst thing is they can charge you Labor work on something that is not OEM parts. other than that, they seem ok with mods (dont take my word, its your own risky to mod your car)

Opps i missed your question. I used to own a E46 m3 heavily modded. i took my car there for service and they dont care about it.

Even for my E92 M3 right here. when i did the 1200miles check, i already had bunch of stuff installed, they knew but they didnt say a word.

yep... its usually cool with most dealerships. and if its not, just throw your stock intake back on when you go in for scheduled maintenance... takes all of 20 min to swap um.
