No Communication Help

im having an issue i recently got a new used DME for my 2007 335i it used to have a msd80 that was bugging out now has an msd81 that fixed my previous issue (injectors on bank 2 weren't working.) sent out my CAS and Key and they returned an msd81 with my original cas and key i plugged it in and at first didn't idle very well i reset the adaptations as instructed and that fixed the idling issue i drove the car and it drove great no more misfires i plugged my auto maxisys scanner and there were no faults on the engine side after a good 30 min drive BUT when i try to access the car with OBD on any of my 4 scanners i can't get any communication to read the readiness monitors i don't know what to do ? any advice is greatly appreciated i have checked the OBD fuses and they're fine ?
