The system is far less than any other valved system on the market and is the perfect upgrade for anyone who wants the flexibility of a valved system that wont break the bank. I have also made exhaust valve controllers that are the cheapest on the market allowing you to control your exhaust on the fly for less than 100$. It has been my dream to make stuff like this for enthuisasts and I welcome you to check it out.

Product 1: VALVED 335i Exhaust with controller 649$

Product 2:Exhaust flap controller 119$

Check it out here!: https://valvetronic.com/
It even was 649 dollars last year, as you can even see in the first post from this topic.

Markets change. Money loses value. Prices fluctuate.

Why is this being made an issue? These guys are selling a product. It's up to them what they want to sell it for and it doesn't have to stay the same. If you don't want it. Don't buy it. Easy.

Again. What is the issue that's causing the new posts?

Yeah, I'm with you. I don't get the sudden pitchforking over a whole lot of nothing. Companies raise their prices to deal with increasing costs or margins. The exhaust I got for what I paid is as good or better than exhausts 2x the price, plus I can hit a button and then it's stock.

Just been reading through this and it’s looking like this could be a very tempting option, has anyone got any footage of an N55 with the valvetronic system added to an otherwise stock exhaust? (I know wrong forum section)

Also there was a post that was talking about the controller over-riding the stock exhaust valve controller. Say you have the valve closed, and floor it, would you notice much restriction where the valve would normally open at around 3000 rpm?

While I have the exhaust + controller and I think you are interested in the controller-only option, I don't think there will be difference in restriction when closed (as it goes through the stock half of the muffler).

I haven't noticed any restriction/change in engine behavior or performance when the valve is closed. If you had a modified or free flow cat, maybe you'd notice it but I'm running stock cats and no tune.

My friend has one installed. When its open its definitely throaty and louder, nothing too obnoxious and actually sounds pretty good. When it is closed it is not like "stock" that is for sure, since you are missing a muffler on one side. My golf tee mod is quieter than the closed setting on his. Still a decent product. I think the price is double of what it should be but if there are buyers at 649 it will probably never go down to 300ish where it would sell like hot cakes. I think i would prefer the VRSF street exhaust for that price.

I have this exhaust installed and I am not a fan and personally regret spending the money to buy it. My advice is buy almost anything else for the money. I even installed catless pipes prior to this install and it does not make it worth the money

There is barely a difference in sound. From the inside of the car it sounds pretty much similar from outside it is a bit louder when the valve is open. But it’s not worth the amount of money it costs. I would either pick up a cheap exhaust and save a couple hundred bucks or spend a couple hundred more and buy something proper.

Are you sure you installed the exhaust correctly? A leak around the exhaust clamps might cause this. Or did you just order the valve controller and that was it?

I have this exhaust, and it’s a pretty large difference between valve open and closed with my N55 335i.

That doesn't Make any sense. It's a muffler delete.

People do a muffler delete and have massive sound increase. If yours isn't increasing, it's installed wrong or you have massive expectations.

I have pe mod on driver side and stock on passenger. Essentially the same as this. Valve closed it's worlds more quiet.

Well if you look at it closely, the stock driver side muffler is almost straight trough with just a tiny resonated part when the valve is open. It's normal this piece doesn't make it twice as loud for example...

And it’s a one muffler delete so not quite. It’s not as if the muffler are both removed. Listed to their videos online and see how much louder you think it is. I assure you in real life it’s not as loud.

Sorry, pretty new to forums. But I know the valvetronic exhaust system will work on the 335i but will it work on other e9x models like a 323i or a 320i??
