Can you tell us what year and model the seats are from? Any chance you happen to have the VIN of the donor car?

I am going to go out on a limb and say no because I do not see the heat seating module but it just may be hidden from view.

Follow the female yellow connector that is mounted to the seat frame. The harness should connect to a module that looks like this:

Trace the harness. If you see wires going between the leather cover and the cushions the seats are heated.

The ebay link module is what would be under the passenger seat for a E90/91 with heated seats. The OP's pic is the drivers seat. But that is a good idea. If the seller can't send the vin, ask if they can send a pic of what is under the passenger seat.

My best guess so far is the seats are not heated. I think the open ports in the module are where the heated wiring goes. But newtis does not have a good picture or diagram. And the module part number has been superseded by a module that is for cars with both heat and no heat.

The driver's seat pictured is definitely heated (or has heated seat wiring/combo module ).

Take a picture of the passenger's seat bottom and connectors to verify. It will have a single smaller module with 3 connectors plugged into it.

Or the drivers module slots don't have pins in those 2 open slots. That was the case for mine.

No, that's not the case as the heated wiring is there, and module part number checks out as heated. That's all there is to it.

Thanks everyone, ended up getting the invoice From the junkyard the guy bought them from and it had the vin! they are heated! Installed them today. Going to dye the leather door panel inserts once dye comes in. That module under passenger seat is indeed for heated seats.

AFAIK, ALL BMW front seats have the heaters installed. The only part missing on cars without heated seats is the two switches to turn them on, and the fuse. Buy those, install them, and you'll have heated seats. This was definitely the case with my '01 325i.

Regards,
Ray L.
