Anyone heard of RMeuropean?
I’m looking to buy a passenger side auto dimming/heated mirror for my 2008 E90. Mine started to fog up. Part retails for $413.70. Various sites have it for around $317.00. RMeuropean has it for $244.10. The part number is the same has other sites. I’m just curious has anyone heard or used them before? Thank you.
EBay has a used mirror for $44.00. I’m just skeptical because the mirror will be 12 years old. And who knows how long it’s going to last. And I never purchased any parts for my car on EBay. Last edited by ny325; 07-08-2020 at 12:18 PM.. |

I can't speak of that vendor, but I recently replaced both mirror assemblies from different ebay vendors and they both look great and worked (pre-lci). My originals had folding that never worked properly, both covers were pretty pitted from stone chips, passenger side glass auto dim failed and turned brown.. so I just replaced both assemblies for ~$200. You never know how long things will last when used but if you shop around you can find some good examples.
PS. Folding, heated, dimming had 3 prong plugs (I believe the other non optioned mirrors had 5 prong plugs) |

I emailed them. I just want make sure the part is OEM. The passenger side mirror on there site has the same part number, as the bmw site. They have good prices, that’s why I was a little sceptical. Thank you for giving confidence in making a purchase from them.

I just called RMeuropean, and spoke the the customer service rep. First, very nice and answered my questions. I asked about the passenger side mirror. They told me the mirror is OEM, and the same one bmw would use. He said on the back of the mirror, I’m going to see a little smudge. That was the BMW logo, but because of copyright, it has to be removed. But the mirror is identical to what you would buy at the dealership. Also the part number is the same the dealer gave me. So I’m happy I went this route. They offer a two year warranty on the mirror, just like the dealership. He actually said he was going to ship it out once we get off the phone. I’m very pleased with the service they provided.

I purchased my 335i turbos from them few years ago...placed the order, then next day checked site to see if item has been shipped.
There were no updates. That evening when I got home, there was a big Mitsubishi box...

My first experience was great. Waiting for my side view mirror now. They rub off the “BMW” logo due to copyright laws I was told. That’s why there able to sell it for a good price. It’s the same part the dealer uses. I’m having a set of Michelin All Season 4 tires, a new battery, and the side view mirror installed next week. I was told they have a two year warranty on parts. That’s the same as the dealer. Can’t wait.
