People dont install parts on their own cars based off of what you think about them..

It's one of the few exhausts out there that are plug and play. Most require cutting and welding....

The PE install requires that you cut your original exhaust pipes. The center muffler delete pipe attaches to the secondary cats with a pair of clamps.

Just put an e92 PE on it and trim the excess tip.

You're missing the point. The PE center muffler delete pipe doesn't have a flange. It's just bare pipe on both ends. I have the coupe PE on my sedan. You have to cut your stock exhaust as it is once piece from the secondary cats to the muffler.

Thanks for the lead but I am in PA but I regularly travel to our house in SC. Local pickup in the bay area isn't feasible for me. I agree, $700 for a modified PE exhaust seems high.
