Also will you still pass emission tests with them fitted?

I bought the evolve ones off them in the Black Friday sales mate for £289.99

Spot on quality. Test fitted them the other week and look perfect fitment.
Try giving them a call and ask if they'd do the same offer as a "Christmas special" lol 😂 worth a go.

I'm sure its the angel the photo was taken from, or, the mid pipe not fitted correctly?

Because from the picture the DP and mid pipe flanges look a long way from aligning correctly.

Yeah bud, id taken the centre section of the exhaust brackets off when I removed the standard DP's so the rest of the system is still loose. But when I held them in the correct position they line up perfect 👍🏼

Ive also got evolve downpipes.

You shouldn't have a problem come M.O.T time mine has passed last 2 years fine.

I’m running Wagners DP’s and they’re superb. You’ll be fine with MOT as long as you keep the secondary cats in place.

What a pig of a job to do, took me about 6 hours last night, all the DIY's and guides refer the LHD models which have it a lot easier with the steering column on the other side of the rack. Job done anyway, few bits of trim to put back on and quick check for leaks etc. Loaded on the MHD stage 2+ map huge improvement for sure!

if I was you I would start on Saturday it's a pain in the ass of a job on RHD models due to lack of access. if you haven't already bought the turbo to downpipes gaskets and v band clamps I would not start without having replacements for them.

last night I had to take my downpipes back off as they were leaking at the turbo due to re using the old seals. 4 hours of a job

also when tightening the vband clamps, you have to full tighten them so that both sides touch when properly tightened

you need to unbolt the steering rack and drop it out of the way a few inches and minimum be on axle stands so you can turn the wheels to get more clearance when needed

new pipes will smoke for a few minutes when started for the first time. don't panic! it's just the coating burning off the metal and welds.

huge improvement once fitted. it's likes the turbos can breathe more, stage 2+ loaded on and there is a noticeable difference and acceleration from just the pipes. Sounds nicer too. Cold starts may annoy your neighbours though! Good luck

Well, I say I'm fitting them, I'm actually get someone who has fitted a few set to do it for me, I'm happy to do most things on my cars, but working on axel stands is not something I enjoy doing.

The guy doing it has said he has never needed new gaskets and v-band clamps and he has done a few sets now, as it's a Sunday I've order them anyway, just to make sure nothing stops him getting them on.

I don't use the car daily, but am partial to an early morning run out on the summer months, the neighbours will have to deal with it.

Thanks for the tips mate, really looking forward to getting the stage 2+ flashed now.

I was too stubborn to pay some one to do them and did them myself. I wish I had the turbo gaskets the first time they were very thin compared to the new ones i I put in last night and for the sake for 20 quid it's worth it. you don't want to drop the pipes again just to fit a gasket !

the v bands are a bit more expensive but again can snap if applied wrong and then your stranded there downpipeless

As the guy doing the work said he has never needed a new gaskets nor clamp I've just ordered one of each as a precaution, the pair came to £32.04.
