Interestingly enough, the iPod bridge reinitializes whenever the DME is power-cycled, so if one could spoof the bridge into thinking the DME was still on, it might be possible. Long shot though...

I got around the issue by using Media Monkey to load the tracks on to my ipod and changing the file type from "music" to "podcast" and the module now starts the tracks from where they stopped.
