I ended up having the feather the clutch quite severely every time to get it to shift smoothly. Now, it sounds like an amateur mistake, but by this time, I had had about 8 years of stick-shift experience under my belt (Miata and G35), so I was no noob. I jumped on the CDV mod and it just makes the gearbox shift more "normal." You can live without a modified CDV, but for the price, no reason why you shouldn't do it...
Cool! I just got a brand new clutch installed this past Monday, I had 3 miles left on my warranty!!! Where did you have it (CDV) installed at? how long did it take? I might just do it over there since I'm going to be in SA this coming up week..

And as far where to install the cdv, you can seriously do it yourself with some jacks or ramps. I'm poor so I try to do what I can myself. If you need help let me know, I'm always willing to lend a hand. The jb3 and cdv I could help you do, but your on your own with the dp's

what side of town do you stay when you visit SA? Let me see if I can get a pressure bleeder from someone, it'll make things easier.

I'd recommend Prestige Tuning for the DP's... they have done a lot of the work on my car and I've always been satisfied... Mark is a great guy... tell them that Steven with the Gray 335i said 'hi' if you go... haven't seen him in a while.

How much did they charge you for the DP install?

Hmm I'm not sure how long a DP install takes... I think he charges like, $70-$80/hr I think. He works fast... and if it's a 1hr15min job, he'll just charge u an hour... so it's really not that bad.

I have a suggestion, don't put them on. Not even the m6 can pull off m6 wheels IMO

I've only seen one 335i coupe pull off the m6 rims... other than that, I don't think they look very good...
