'Red Dragon' turns 100 on 4/20.......puff puff tear

This M3 has been a blast since i've owned it now 3 years. Huge grins and only a few moments. Lots of hard work involved basically rebuilding the entire turbo system, 2 headgaskets back to back, and a full interior and exterior make over.

no regrets.

Just went over 100k miles this afternoon while out for a drive.

Had to pull over on a nice stretch of country road and catalog her condition.

For your pleasure, its been awhile since i've posted any decent pics, its still dirty from the track last weekend.

1st full photos of the RCJ's and Mickey's mounted, these are the largest tires I think you can fit on an e36 stock fender, minor rubbing inside AND out with the coilovers on full height. Huge traction though . After these wear our i'll be going to R comps or Extreme summers and going back down on ride height.

Love the powder coat

Engine shots

Interior, washed out due to harsh exterior lighting

love my butt plug shift knob......

and finally 2 miles after these shots were taken I got this

followed by this

not bad for 30k boosted miles on a stock bottom end s52.

This is me running a FBO (I think) Mazdaspeed 3 last weekend in some really crappy temps. 2200+ DA hurt times a ton......

skip to :50 or so

always looking good! I'm surprised you never chose to upgrade to bigger brakes with all that power.

How were your 60ft times that day? You looked like you spun thru 2nd even with the MTs haha.

very cool, congrats on passing the century mark with a true icon.

The E36 M3 is a great ///M car that still has great looks. I still think about my 95 Boston Green/Dove Grey coupe....best car I've ever owned. 8 years....

The rear view mirrors still look amazing.....I wish I could get them to fit my E90.

Lastly, nice "Old School" reference

Is love a bbk, but the stock M3 brakes are great if ur not tracking for extended periods. The pads and rotors I have on the car have enough force to get abs active pretty quick. Fade resistance would be about all I would get out of a bbk.

Traction is great, I was spinning 1st gear once in boost, 2nd was pretty hooked but still squealing.

They are great cars....amazing really, I have thoroughly enjoyed it. They need their tlc but in all honesty the e36 has been very reliable.

this was at Mason Dixon in Hagerstown, slow track.

MIR is where its at for drag racing in MD. Not sure on public test and tunes, i'm only there for private track rentals.
