the LCI tails will fit but you'll have to reprogram the car
I suggest stick to the aftermarket with the ones that claim that they throw no errors I have an ebay LED set that throw error but I don't really care, they look cool to me, nobody else has them in my city, and some people call it rice but who cares ?

The '09 and later outer LCI led tail lights will fit - the inner lights (trunk lid) will not. Still searching for best method to get LCI led tail lights to work on pre-LCI car ('07 328i). Unsure whether just recoding will work or whether load resistors are required. They are not a simple plug and play.

Only tails that will fit are from e90 LCI. As someone stated, you need it to get coded from someone with an Autologic tool. However, you need a trunk and inner tails to fully utilize the tail lights. I just did this LCI rear conversion on my car a month ago.

I mean honestly though, have you ever looked at the taillights you mentioned? There all different sizes and shapes, and in no way can fit plug and play for your car ( LCI tails yes, but a new trunk)
Just note that some questions will get you eaten up on this forum. To be helpful, I think the best effect for you would be blacklines, or a smoked set of tail lights. Blacklines are OEM BMW and are a great addition to the car. Just watch out for the aftermarket LED blacklines. They can be finicky with older cars such as ours and will often do a light check at startup that causes a TON of flickering in the lights. This is fixable, but labor intrusive. Good luck
