Limp Mode
On my way to Nashville, doing about 75 to 80, slammed the gas to pass someone and went into limp mode. I was about in hour 5 of the trip in 80 degree weather. Had one stop during the drive to eat/fill up.
Mods are: JB4 and charge pipe. Yup, that's it. Had it set on map 0 for the trip for gas and autoclear was turned on so no codes. After I pulled off the highway and came to a stop, go out, opened the hood, saw no indication of anything wrong, fired up the car and did not see another limp mode. Since it happened, i have turned off the autoclear(no codes yet). What codes should I be looking for that indicate a typical problem that causes a limp mode? |

No, no ISO yet. Was waiting on doing that.
Got some codes now, no SES or CEL light but did a read codes on the dash anyways. First one was 3-0 which i found odd only 2. Rest are: 2-C-9-0 2-E-E-0 It stayed at 140(E) for longer than normal, so thinking 2 in a row. 2-E-F-4 I will hook my laptop up later to make sure these are right. I was at the airport picking up a co-worker and quickly jotted these down. |
