Purchased some Alufelgen CS7s in silver, and want to keep them in pristine condition. Especially the wheel barrels.

Will have a about a month before the weather turns around for install. Planning on doing 2 coats. I only have experience with CQaurtz sealant on body paint. But I'm so excited to spend some quality time with them before install.

I know prevention is key and my goal is to prevent stains and dark buildup. I wash about once every 2 weeks.

What do you recommend? I'd like to refrain from using any aggressive brushes on them.

If you have any remaining CQuartz you can certainly use that.

I personally like to use CQuartz DLUX or 22ple VM1E on my wheels. Both are super easy to use and very durable.

You can also use CarPro HydrO2 from time to time for added protection.

Same recommendations.

A nano coating will provide a very slight sheen on a satin finish, but IMO it looks amazing.

Here are some satin bronze hellcat wheels I recently coated with CQuartz DLUX.

Update!

I applied the CQuartz DLUX to my wheels. The first wheel, I applied to every surface and let it sit for right under 3 minutes - as recommended by CarPro, as I was doing it indoors at 65 degrees. Well, it was very sticky like honey. Which they warned me about. (I should've done it in my garage as it's 40 degrees as it would buy me a few more minutes.)

2nd wheel, I took a different approach of only doing half of the wheel, and doing the barrels separate and last. For the 3rd, I applied less and less product. It became a little bit easier. But the wheel pattern also was a big factor.

By the 4th wheel, I was more exhausted than I was changing 4 wheels. I ended up not going to the gym that day and going to bed at 8pm.

Overall I'm glad I applied the Dlux to my wheels as I figure all of that work prevents me from having to clean that stubborn brake dust. I'm letting them cure for a few weeks as we are expecting some weather. I may do another coating this weekend just to the corners, barrels and outer lip.

I sure hope this lasts a long time.

I get 1+ years of easy maintenance with DLUX on my daily driven wheels. I just pressure wash them and wipe with soap and water... no wheel cleaner or scrubbing needed.

To avoid the stickiness, apply it to the wheel and then immediately remove it by lightly wiping with a suede microfiber towel. Plush towels tend to feel more "grabby" when wiping it off.
