Where to start?

According to the site, these headlights are made of polyester plastic - the same stuff that leisure suits from the 70's and 80's were made of.

In addition, the site claims that these lights are "DOT, SAE Approved." This is an incorrect statement as neither DOT nor SAE "approve" anything.

These lamps do NOT meet the requirements of FMVSS 108 and may not legally be sold.

They are just the Depo P90 headlights that other vendors sell here for less than half that.

thx

thx for the feedback guys.

i was reading that mark (dms82) in CT has replaced the amber lenses with CF and white ones. i might try to connect with him if he is still doing this. if not, i might try to import from a dealer in europe. bav auto charging 2K is crazy.

i am thinking white euros fronts with lux 5.0 and a blackout grille would be a good start to the modding.

thanks again guys and please let me know if there are any alternatives.

That is what the OEM upgrade to xenons costs. You could purchase those lights seen above from other vendors on this website for less than half of what that site it selling it for. I dont believe Marc does headlight upgrades for other people. Lux will only fit into OEM lights.
