xennon headlight bulb type

hi,

i searched the forum and read a post.

the left and right xennon's are different bulb types? left = D1S and right = D2S ?

is this true?

car is a 2006 330xi. I need to replace a pink passenger xennon. the passenger side headlight looks completely pink.

I believe this just means a bulb replacement is needed as the bulb is going an no furthur repairs to the headlamp unit is required to solve this issue? correct?

your Xenons are both D1S, D2S is for the older type of BMW like E46 E39 and before

They are both the same type- D1S.
