TIME: Event will begin at 10:30am, BBQs will light up at 11am

LOCATION: River Bend Park Picnic Pavilion, Great Falls, VA
Information regarding the site can be found on the Fairfax County Parks Website

FORMAT: Pot Luck BBQ, all attendees are encouraged to bring a food item (enough to feed 5-7), in addition to these dishes, sides, and desserts; we will be serving standard BBQ fare (hot dogs, burgers), and have sodas, waters, and condiments. Please see the list below for items required.

ENTERTAINMENT: Games, fishing, nature surroundings, RAFFLE, and lots and lots of car talk...

d. about 2 miles, you'll need to go thru the stop sign
d. about a mile, you need to make a right on Jeffrey twds the Park
Park Signs are available, and you cant miss it. as you enter the left parking lot will have the Pavilion at the end of the parking lot, but to your right as you enter you will have the open bbq tables.

During our phenomenal October meet that involved multiple local BMW and euros communities, about 50 cars and close to 100 in attendance; folks requested for a follow up event with more emphasis on down time to chill and hang out and get to know one another







So we racked our brains on this one and came back with a casual BBQ concept, through the workings of the open and active discussion thread. The BBQ concept is not new and has been in the planning books for sometime but we haven't had the impetus to push ahead with one in the past.

I must give credit to Scottz71 and Mr.F1_Fan for lending their BBQ logistics expertise in making our upcoming BBQ event, feasible.

Good Morning my fellow Washingtonians!

Its another fine day at the Shining City on the Hill. As DC Metro celebrates another Mid-Atlantic milestone, lets be reminded to give thanks to the Military serving aboard.

Great thanks to the men and of women of the Military defending our way of life and to those who gave the ultimate sacrifice, in order to have the opportunity to gather and rekindle the friendships we have both found on and offline.

Laura, the kids and myself wish to join your celebration, but instead just request that you guys be safe and give thanks to each other for the warm and everlasting friendship you have found and continuing to built upon.

ahhh that explains things...

We were all awaiting your arrival, you were to be our guest of honor. Everytime a light colored E90 drove into our area, we're like: "look its that guy from New York"

Actually closer to 3pm we started getting worried that you might've been stuck in the holiday interstate crawl.

I had to leave early to catch a plane to Dallas, where I am right now so I was thinking I missed your grand appearance.

I'm also wondering if they did leave food on the table lest you arrived long after everyone's left
