hi - does anyone have step by step directions, possibly a video, of how to flash a 325i/328i to a 330i tune using bimmerlabs?

installing my 3SI in a couple of weeks and just want to make sure i get it right

I am following these instructions:

however, it gets very confusing from about step 3.

any help would be much appreciated.

You don't even have to worry about most of that. Make sure the software is installed properly and then just use the .bin files provided instead and it does all the right things for you. You'll only need to step through a few return button hits at best.

You basically turn on INPA and verify communication, then shut all the bmw tools down. Grab your 328to330 MAF or noMAF .bin file from Bimmerlabs and it will open the programs and execute what you want to do with the right steps. You just sit and watch the windshield wipers go nuts.

Make sure before you start coding that you have a decent constant power hooked up to your battery. The initial RSA delete takes a little bit to finish — tune itself will be fairly quick (like a minute or less depending on your computer and K+DCAN communication speed).

Sorry if this has been answered...Anyone know if rsa delete and or the 330 flash will cause problems for scans for smog checks

What software are you using to do the flash? I cant get the Bimmergeek tools to load on my windows 10 computer. I ordered an intake yesterday.

i downloaded bimmertools, there is a DIY for windows 10 devices on the forums

Shouldn't but they did warn not to do it and reset adaptations if you're near to your smog check appointment. Just because it might be rich. If you're paranoid or the sniffer laws are rough go for the standard 328to330 vs the NoMAF tune.

Thanks bluewater328 I've got a 2006 325 that an intake is waiting to go into...if for any reason anyone know how easy or.possible to reverse the tune to go from 330i back to stock 325 if needed?

You can revert back with the stock profiles that bimmerlabs provides as well (if needed).

If you haven't already guessed, you flash with WinKFP. The instructions are on the bimmerlabs help page.

So I downloaded the Bimmertools file and followed all the instructions, or so I thought. I never downloaded the SP-daten files. I tried to code the car and I was getting a fatal error message, so I assume I need the SP-daten files. I am trying to download them, but the mega upload thing, will not let me make an account. I need help...
