If you could scan the car and list the actual fault codes..that would be a huge help.

wasnt able to find any faults. half check engine light sometimes it goes away after 10-30 seconds. sometimes it stays on for a minute or two

What are you using to scan with? If it's throwing a light up.....it's got to have a code in memory. You can use MHD app to scan codes with for free...it will find ones generic code readers won't.
