Hi!

I wasn't planning to do a thread for this however after looking at some of the cars on here it made me realise just how much I enjoyed my last build thread I made for my e46! Here's a link to my build thread:
http://www.e46zone.com/forum/topic/5...i-convertible/

And here is a pic of the car!

Sooo...I traded this in for a silver E93 325 SE. I've wanted to get an E93 for ages so when the chance came I couldn't turn it down!

Heres some pics of the car the day I got it

The first thing I did the same day was change the wheels! I knew I was going to pick the car up on Friday so I ordered some wheels on the Wednesday before I picked up the car! I had CSLs on my e46 so felt like a change so I decided to go for some style 313s. I ordered the wheels from Chris at ********. He's a good guy and always very helpful!

Here's a few quick shots with the new wheels on

Looking much better already!

The list of things I have planned over the coming months are:
Led Ring Angel Eyes
Gel Resin Private Plate (Hurry up DVLA with my new logbook!)
White Pearl Wrap(if anyone knows of the best places in London please let me know!)
Chrome Exhaust tips
Dynavin
Reverse Camera
Custom Subwoofer
Led lights

Hope to try and update this as much as possible!

Go with pressed metal plates. Look less chavvy than the Gel ones!

Ah i see now, you're transferring a private number from the old car.

I got mine from ebay.

They come printed with the manufacturers details and the BSAU145d stamp just like normal plates so appear to be legal to me.

Ahh ok mate. I think I will give the gel ones ago as I have them sat here waiting to be put on but I will see what they look like once on the car then might end up going the ones you have!

I didn't know they made e93 in 325. What's the difference between a 325 and a 328? Get a smarttop. Doesn't look like your going for power. Best non performance upgrade I did.

100% getting a smartop. I had one in my e46 and loved it! Have a look at my e46 build thread Yeah i wasnt going for power otherwise would have held out for a 335. but I didnt want a 320 so thought 325 would be a compromise. Not to sure about the differences between 325 and 328

Parts are slowly turning up i havent got a garage so plan to rent this out for a day once all the parts are here http://u-spanner.co.uk

The car wrap is booked in for the 29th and im still undecided. Does white pearl look to chavvy?

The 325 if it's the same as the 2006 325 that was in the USA is basically the same as a 328 but a Lil less power. You should be able to modify it to get close to 300hp/tq I'd you want without a supercharger.

Parts are slowly starring to turn up so im starting to get excited. However today i get home after work to find this

Someone has driven into the back of me and driven off.

Now usually i would be furious (actually im fuming) but my caris booked in for the wrap on sunday. So all it means is i need to change the se bumper. I hope its as simple as just changing the rear bumper. So ive decided to source msport bumpers and side skirts. Every cloud!

I think the excess payable & mark on your history for 3 years outweighs the cost of repair or new bumper.

If that's the case just diy. Bumper is easy swap and parts aren't that pricey.

So dvla finally sent me my logbook so i know have my private plate on! Much happier now. I also changed to leds for the licence plate lights!

I'm still undecided on the wrap colour. I will sleep on it. Im really liking the frozen blue (see achus e93 it looks awesome) and frozen grey colours so really unsure what i will say tomorrow when i drop the car off!

unluck with the hit and run btw, sometime people just won't let you have nice things maybe upgrade to an m-sport?

also do you like the look of the aero lip you can put onto the SE bumper? that with a matte wrap would look special

in the UK you get a 320i which is a 2L, and then 325 and 330 which are 3L - the 325 being a slightly downtuned 330... we don't get a 328i e92 here... our 325i's are less powerful than your 328i's though lol...
